To all my loyal followers,
I realize this is only the third actual blog that I'm sending out, but it also may well be my last, or at least second to last. That is because we head out to the bush in two days- Safari! I'm so excited- we are going to be camping in the African Savannah for an entire month. Even for the bugs, lack of hygiene, and consequently smelly people around me, I know it is going to be amazing :) I just wanted to let everyone know that's why I won't be writing or posting anything, at least until December 5th. And then it's back to the States for me. I hope you are all doing well, I love you and miss you as always!

Welcome to Zanzibar

Hello EVERYONE! I created this blog for everyone back at home who begged me (ok, gently urged me) to make one. I realize my time in Africa is now half way over (actually, almost halfway to the day) but internet was SO slow in Nairobi, and is much better now that we are in Zanzibar (for the luxury of us tourists) and so this is my best opportunity to create this. We are on the island of Zanzibar at this moment, about to finish our history class and begin our week of free travel. Which will basically mean lounging on the beach, eating, and drinking. Don't hate me :) To everyone in the U.S. who might read this, I love you guys and miss you all so much. Well, most of you. Just kidding! I hope my musings meet your expectations, but my plan is to mostly give you pictures from everywhere we've been and let you see, rather than just read, what we are doing here. Kwaheri for today! (Goodbye in Swahili)
